Named for the largest community and the focal center of the Boontling Region, Boont Amber Ale is a medium-bodied pale ale with a beautiful copper color, a robust head, and the rich flavor of caramel malt. The unusual combination of abundantly forested hills of redwoods and firs on one side of Anderson Valley and the open pastures and oaks on the other inspire the noble and robust, yet smooth and mellow character of Boont Amber Ale. This exceptional brew was called "the best beer brewed in Northern California" by the San Francisco Bay Guardian.

Our Extra Special Bitter Ale was inspired by the Belk Region, a scenic valley just beyond the Baldies, northeast of Boont, where the language of Boontling originated. Reminiscent of the land of the Belk Region, Belk's Bitter breathes the savory fragrance of the hop fields and radiates the golden hue of the Baldie Hills. With a full body, ambrosial maltiness, and an arousing hoppy bite, Belk's Bitter Ale stands as a perfectly balanced ESB.
Warning: This beer is not for "light beer drinkers" or those desiring "no aftertaste".
Hoppiness may bring happiness.

Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout is a brew beyond words that must be experienced for a true appreciation of its complexity. This full-bodied, creamy, sweet stout is like no other! At the Great American Beer Festival in 1990, Barney Flats was awarded the gold medal. No other stout even came close, so the gold was the only medal awarded in the Stout category that year, and most recently, it was ranked third among the Top Ten U.S. Beers, by the 1998 World Beer Championships. This brew is an intensely rich experience, with a gratifying bittersweet finish..

When the phrase "California Style Beer" is used, this is the one that comes to mind. The golden color and generous use of Pacific Northwest hops establish a distinct style, separate from any domestic or European beers. Our honey gold, pale ale is crisp and clear, with an unusual lightness and dryness for such a full-flavored ale. The arousing abundance of hops adds both a floral bouquet and a slightly bitter, lively finish.

First brewed in 1995 and our only product bottled exclusively in twelve ounce six packs, Hop Ottin' India Pale Ale is as hoppy as they come. The name even means "Hard Working Hops" in Boontling. Generous additions of hop pellets during the boil, whole hop flowers in the hop back, plus traditional dry hopping during the cellering phase, give this amazing ale a deep golden color, a delicious citrus aroma, and an intense hoppy bite. It's like drinking a bale of hops, only much more thirst quenching. This IPA is a hop lover's dream.
